Mark the 14 January 2012 in your new diary, on your iPhone and calendar so you don’t forget to bring the entire family and your interstate and overseas visitors to Willunga’s first market.

The Willunga Quarry Market is open from 9am to 1pm and is located on Willunga Recreation Park Oval grounds and can be can be accessed from Aldinga and Main Roads and Railway Terrace. Refreshments are available at the market to sustain you during your shopping spree. We will sponsor your visit to the National Trust Court house and Slate Museums, just visit our Information Tent and ask for a free pass.

Recently, three very interesting new products have been introduced to the market, Luke Craig creator of copper and aluminium wall sculptures, that range in size for eye catching features in the family home, resorts and corporate buildings, has presented his art at the last two markets, and will attend this month. Rebekah Eyers will also return in January with her candelabras and breadboards hand sculptured from Camphor Laurel timber, a sustainable resource that is naturally antibacterial.

Jonathon Hart has a collection of eco friendly party supplies. Pre packaged party boxes with decorations and candles are available or you can choose product to suit your special occasion.

The range of products available at the Willunga Quarry Market is diverse. You are invited to visit and explore. Tribe FM volunteers from Willunga’s own radio station provide easy listening music.

In September 2001 a well attended and popular Dolls Bears and Miniatures Fair and Spring Garden and Produce Market was held and continued for 5 years. Unfortunately, dwindling volunteers caused the closure of this successful extra WQM event event.
